Caswell County Information
Caswell County is located in the north-central region of North
Carolina along the Virginia border just south of Danville, VA. It’s a very rural county with Yanceyville as its’ only town. As the Triangle area continues to explode with growth, Caswell County will increasingly become an attractive place to live – a place where you can buy acreage, live out your lifestyle, and still be within commuting distance of Durham, Chapel Hill, Burlington, Greensboro, Danville and several major universities.
A great feature of Caswell County is Piedmont Community College in Yanceyville. For recreation, you can golf at Caswell Pines, enjoy water activities on Farmer Lake, and utilize the picnic areas and walking tracts provided by the Caswell Recreation Department. A new park is being created in honor of Maud Gatewood, a well-known artist and resident of Caswell County.
If you’re interested in Caswell County and you are looking for a recreational/hobby farm, a home with acreage, a rural land tract to build your dream home, or a great home in one of Caswell’s small communities, call Carolina Farms & Homes.
